Sarah Hager
Keyboardist and conductor Sarah Hager enjoys performing on a variety of instruments and musical genres, ranging from Baroque organ to Gilbert & Sullivan operetta to 20th-century piano music and Finnish kantele. Sarah earned a M.M. in Historical Performance at the Longy School of Music, where she studied harpsichord with Frances Fitch and organ with Peter Sykes. A long-time church musician, Sarah served six years at Lexington United Methodist Church as organist and music director. After taking a break from performing to complete an M.S. in Computer Science at Northeastern University, she has most recently served in interim positions, and is a regular substitute at a number of local churches. Sarah currently works as a software engineer in downtown Boston. In her free time, she enjoys solving puzzles of various sorts -- jigsaw puzzles, crosswords, escape rooms, and puzzle hunts.
