Alexander Marin

Alex Marin started playing the organ at the age of nine when he met the organist at the First Congregational Church of Camden, Maine. He has won scholarships from the Young Organists Collaborative (based in Exeter, New Hampshire), and the Young Organists Initiative of the Boston Chapter of the AGO. He currently studies under Christian Lane, who is helping him prepare for auditions to undergraduate organ performance programs. Alex is a senior in high school and spends most of his time practicing — though, during the autumn, he ran for his school's cross country team and acted in his school's production of Man of La Mancha.
